About Me

Hello! My name is Quinn and I am a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA). My belief is that every method of health care has its benefits but also its limitations, therefore everyone should get the most they can out of each type of therapy available to them in order to feel their best. I am committed to improving my patients’ quality of life by using my skills while also referring them to other practitioners if I feel it’s what they need.

As an acupuncturist, my goal is to apply eastern methods while incorporating modern biomedical knowledge where I can in order to stretch the possibilities and provide a more comprehensive treatment. What I love most about traditional Chinese medicine is the holistic approach to treatment. It aims to get to the root of the problem while managing symptoms at the same time. No two treatments are alike and each person gets a customized treatment suited to their health care needs. All body systems are connected, depend on each other, and influence one another, so I use acupuncture to restore and optimize health by treating the person as a whole and by looking for the origin of the issue, whether it be mental or physical. I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment by being understanding and sympathetic to the needs of my patients.

I graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and continue to broaden my knowledge through continuing education courses. Being a naturally curious person, I am always on the lookout for new and exciting things to learn about and techniques to use so that I can add to my skill set. While I enjoy having a general practice, I look forward to focusing on stroke rehabilitation and motor impairment in the coming years.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time with my wonderful friends and family. I have a loving and supportive husband with whom I share a hilarious and spirited dachshund named Walter.
